Clearance

Clearance is required with most partnerships that work with protected communities like children, elder and incarcerated folks.

LiveScan and TB tests may be required depending on what community partner you decide to work on but may not be required by all partnerships.

To learn more about clearance and the process visit our Student page!

Promise Scholars Annual Fieldtrips

Every year the CEC provides two fieldtrips for local school aged students involved in Promise Scholars through the Ontario-Montclair School District (OMSD). Students come to campus for a tour, discussion, activities, and an opportunity to engage with Pitzer/Claremont College Students.

Check out our "Get Involved" page to sign up for this years fieldtrip!

Pomona Public Library " Homework Club"

The Pomona Public Library "Homework Club" provides tutoring resources to students K-6th grade, Monday through Thursdays for all free! Students tutor these school aged students in all types of subjects and do fun activities as well!

Whether you are looking for engagement opportunities for your class or on your own. We've compiled a list of volunteer opportunities requested by our community partners. If you are interested in working with any of those listed, please reach out to the contact provided.
